I did it again!! Bought this one for Joyce though. Of course I may be forced to shoot it. The 450/400 Nitro Express fires a 400 grain bullet at 2150 FPS. Potent enough for Elephant it is an excellent round for Cape Buffalo in an almost enjoyable recoil category compared to the 450 or 470 NE. I stole this gun at about $7-8,000 less than its value. Dumb luck timing!!

Shoots well with 400 grain KYNOCH .450/.400 3.25†NE ammunition, 28 1/4†chopper-lump (Demi-bloc) barrels, double underlugs (lumps), doll’s head extension, splinter forend with Anson forend release, LOP approximately 14 3/4â€, extractors, non-auto safe, bolstered frame is unmistakably Charles Osborne, Nitro proved at 60 Cordite and 400 grain bullet with London stamps, bushed strikers, extensive scroll engraving, gold SAFE, tuned triggers approximately 3 ¾ lbs.
