The turn was the 1st problem. Making a left hand turn across route 1. The second problem was that apparently I needed to have the key in the ignition in order to operate the steering wheel. Who knew? The next problem was the downhill. Apparently you have you have your foot on the brake, not the clutch, in order to stop the car from ramming the other car.
