One month to the Relay

To benefit the American Cancer Society. A few on here have contributed and that is greatly appreciated. When I set a goal of $10,000 I figured we didn't have a chance. We are at $7325 right now. Pretty amazing considering there is not one corporate sponsor.

Wow!! Major run up over night. I sent out a blanket email but I think the difference this time was the only having a month to go. The procrastinators jumped on board. Broke over $8,700. I'd say there's a good chance we can make the $10,000 goal.

We just popped through the $10,000 mark. Pretty awesome when you consider there is not one corporate sponsor. It's all individual donations from $10 - $1,000.

Great job. Maybe this will be a thing for you and Joyce. A good friend of mine lost her husband to pancreatic cancer a few years ago (he was about 45). She and her daughters are tireless fundraisers for the cause. Her daughters have foregone birthday presents every year in favor of a donation to pancan research. They've raised a ton of money and it really is nice to have a real face to these things. I'm glad you reached your goals...all of them!
