    .... and Neurosurgeons...

I grew up on comedy... from cartoons, The Three Stooges.. the Pink Panther series...the Great Race genre..etc etc..

    Slapstick...

As a teenager into young adulthood, anything comedic drew me.

So I present one of my all time favorites.

    Young Frankenstein.

You movie freaks... who played the blind priest?
Robert Francis O'Rourke, Democrat, White guy, spent ~78 million to defeat, Ted Cruz, Republican immigrant Dark guy …
    and lost …
    But the Republicans are racist.

Totally correct. He wasn't a priest, he was a vaguely religious hermit based on the tradition of hermits in Eastern European countries.

I know way too much about this movie and the interviews done with Brooks and the cast.

My first thought was Mel Brooks himself... but he usually plays Rabbis. I guess my watching that movie multiple times finally paid off.

One of his best roles, though, was Torquemada:

It's been ten years since that lonely day I left you
In the morning rain, smoking gun in hand
Ten lonely years but how my heart, it still remembers
Pray for me, momma, I'm a gypsy now

Yeah, but when I think about the Spanish Inquisition, I still think Monty Python:
