NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Country music star Dolly Parton had minor injuries following a crash Monday morning in Nashville.
Parton was riding as the front seat passenger in a Nissan SUV when a woman driving a Mitsubishi Diamante apparently failed to yield and struck the SUV at the intersection of Vaulx Lane and Kirkwood Avenue.
Metro police said Parton and the driver of the SUV, Judy Ogle, 68, of Nashville, were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, Diane Lish, 64, of Old Hickory, was taken to Centennial Medical Center.
The crash was reported about 11:40 a.m., and it's unclear whether Lish was cited.
In a tweet posted later in the day, Parton said:
"Dolly Parton @DollyParton
I was in a fender bender this morning here in Nashville, but I am all good... Just a little tired and sore. Resting at home now!"
