  • Wrapping - It Is Done!

I'm almost done. I have one bottle of booze to buy but I will shrewdly purchase one of those cute bottle cover thingies. Other than that (and waiting on one small item that I will not wrap) - I'm done with gift-buying, gift-wrapping, card sending, package mailing, stocking-stuffing, etc.

    How about you?

I tried rapping today, but Black people on the bus just laughed at me.
It's been ten years since that lonely day I left you
In the morning rain, smoking gun in hand
Ten lonely years but how my heart, it still remembers
Pray for me, momma, I'm a gypsy now

Yeah, my husband has mentioned that from time to time.

I'm not finished wrapping, but I am finished buying.

My heart goes out to you. I find wrapping the worst part of the procedure.

This is the first time in years when I participated in actual gift wrapping. I often use decorated gift boxes or bags. I am still using them this year, but not as much.

I don't really mind wrapping. There's a certain OCD satisfaction to wrapping something up perfectly.

Of course, there's also a certain anti-OCD satisfaction to just ripping the paper open at random, too.

                          I'd guess poverty.

                            My family doesn't care.

If it's a friend, then that was different and I did wrap their presents or put it in a gift bag.

Scott, was that a reference to me?

Hah! Booze bought and the special little late thing arrived! I still won't wrap it.

                              Where are you at?
