The year's at the spring
And day's at the morn;
Morning's at seven;
The hill-side's dew-pearled;
The lark's on the wing;
The snail's on the thorn:
God's in his heaven—
All's right with the world!
No, it's the exponentially older feeling FOUR FOUR.

My auto insurance just went down. They have been promising me that my auto rates would drop since I was 18. First it was "when you are 25" then "when you get married (yeah right) " then 40, but finally at fiftupohphh they have finally dropped without me switching coverages or companies. Not much mind you, just 10% but even that's a miracle when you consider that I recently backed into a concrete post at my mother's house and filed a claim.
Happy 44th. Look at the bright side. Every year you get older, your life expectancy actually increases. If you make it to 83 there is a good chance you will live to be 109.

You are no longer in your prime; you're in your palindrome.
Happy birthday.
That's a good one. I'm taking it as my birthday gift!

May we raise children who love the unloved things - the dandelion, the worm, the spiderlings.
Children who sense the rose needs the thorn and run into rainswept days the same way they turn towards the sun...
And when they're grown and someone has to speak for those who have no voice,
may they draw upon that wilder bond, those days of tending tender things and be the one.
