  • Baby, It's Cold Outside!

Yikes! It's cold! This cheap, miserable snow isn't much fun, either.

Yeah. I may need to take a trip just to get away from this crap.

Better book it for Friday since the cold is headed your way. We think we'll get to the low 20s for a high on Friday. That would mean you guys will be at 3 F if the intensity keeps up.

Been doing that for every winter for the last 14 years. Not this year though. Still waiting for winter to show up.

Well, come down here and get it. There is no point to -19 weather even you are on top of a mountain and you have skies on your feet.

The older I get, the more I hate winter.

If it weren't for the grandkids living fairly close, I'd probably be living in a cardboard box, under a bridge in Fl within walking distance of a C-store.

I used to be mystified by the large number of retirees in endless-summer type locales. I'm starting to get the picture.

Mildred released a statement on the 40th anniversary of the ruling in 2007: 'I am proud that Richard’s and my name is on a court case that can help reinforce the love, the commitment, the fairness, and the family that so many people, Black or white, young or old, gay or straight, seek in life. I support the freedom to marry for all. That’s what Loving, and loving, are all about.'." - Mildred Loving (Loving v. Virginia)

In Dallas for a week and yesterday it was 28 degrees. Not much difference between our temps in Western Colorado but they have wind here which makes it seem so much colder, ugh. Missing our beautiful blue sky.
May we raise children who love the unloved things - the dandelion, the worm, the spiderlings.
Children who sense the rose needs the thorn and run into rainswept days the same way they turn towards the sun...
And when they're grown and someone has to speak for those who have no voice,
may they draw upon that wilder bond, those days of tending tender things and be the one.

I didn't realize that until I opened the shades in my room. Still snowing here, too,

Right now, we're having a heat wave. The sun is actually out.

Whose up for moving to Brazil?
