  • Red Sox win the ALCS

    If anyone cares.
    Bask in the warmth of the Deep South
    No one will be denied:
    Big law suits and bathroom toots;
    We're all getting Dixie-fried.
    But somewhere Hank and Lefty
    Are rollin' in their graves
    While kudzu vines grow over signs that read "Jesus Saves."

      I half-ass watched the game, mainly because there was nothing more interesting on TV. Detroit's manager is going to have some serious explaining to do about his choices regarding pitching. He's pretty much directly responsible for the grand slam that won the came for Boston.

        Leyland pretty much managed the pitching the entire series with Boston poorly. The larger disappointment from the team perspective is the absolute lack of performance from Prince Fielder not only in the Boston series, but over the last 2 years post seasons.

        In 24 post season games with the Tigers he is 17-92 (.185 average) with 1 HR and 3 RBI. Not exactly what you would expect from someone with a 9 year 214 million dollar deal.
        We are so fucked.
