  • Martin Bashir resigns from BSDNC

Just over two weeks ago, MSNBC host Martin Bashir delivered a harsh piece of commentary that culminated in the suggestion that someone should “s-h-i-t” in former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin‘s (R-AK) mouth. Bashir offered an abject apology on his next broadcast, but a chorus of critics continued to demand action against the host. After a reported “vacation” for the host earlier this week, Bashir announced, Wednesday afternoon, that MSNBC and Martin Bashir are parting ways.
Deserved outcome. His TV career should be over, but I'm guessing some other nutball outfit will wind up giving him a job, unfortunately.

I don't understand why he did it at all. The Left constantly invokes slavery to describe the most trivial sorts of issues. Why is it a big deal if Palin uses financial slavery to describe a situation? Palin's context is at least understandable.

His response was.......strange to say the least. He deserved to be fired. He should be happy he could resign.
