  • Typical CNN.

CNN has a list of statements from people all over the world on the death of Nelson Mandella. These include statements from Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Michele Obama, John Kerry, Colin Powell, Charlie Rangel, and Madeline Albright.

But they couldn't be bothered to include the statement from the guy who gave Mandella the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
It's been ten years since that lonely day I left you
In the morning rain, smoking gun in hand
Ten lonely years but how my heart, it still remembers
Pray for me, momma, I'm a gypsy now

Yeah, yeah, it's all about poor, poor George.

    Former President George W. Bush:

“Laura and I join the people of South Africa and the world in celebrating the life of Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela. President Mandela was one of the great forces for freedom and equality of our time. He bore his burdens with dignity and grace, and our world is better off because of his example. This good man will be missed, but his contributions will live on forever. Laura and I send our heartfelt sympathy to President Mandela’s family and to the citizens of the nation he loved.”
    Enjoy.

Funny how they couldn't manage to include that in their actual front page story.

He didn't mean it. George Bush hates black people.

It's one of those inconvenient truths.

Yeah, Mandela's death is a tragedy. For George.
            Enjoy.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't.

The one thing that it undeniably IS, though, is yet another chance for the fucktards at CNN to showcase their BDS.

Maybe they should take the occasion to review how Jack Abramoff, then head of the College Republicans, and his buddy Grover Norquist used to lobby on behalf of apartheid South Africa back in the 80's.
                  Enjoy.

What does that have to do with CNN's BDS?

I'm more upset about the fact that Madeline Albright is included
in the list of progressives. Good point though.

How can a college student lobby?

Be specific, I've got some experience in this matter back when I was a "regular caller" to Karen Thurman about Clinton's plan to cut veteran's benefits (that 2% fee to the VA for a mortgage stuck, I paid it in 1999).
