    If it pays, it stays

  • #2

My brother had this up on facebook this morning.

I haven't talked to him directly about it (it's a sensitive subject right now, to be sure), but he has to be nervous about this right now. The kids have US citizenship and thus could leave the country at any moment, but his wife does not. She has only her Russian citizenship and while she has a Schengen visa as well as a US visitor visa, the latter, at the least, could theoretically be revoked any moment. The fact that her parents are former KGB can't be helpful in this situation.
It's been ten years since that lonely day I left you
In the morning rain, smoking gun in hand
Ten lonely years but how my heart, it still remembers
Pray for me, momma, I'm a gypsy now

Colonel Vogel : What does the diary tell you that it doesn't tell us?

Professor Henry Jones : It tells me, that goose-stepping morons like yourself should try *reading* books instead of *burning* them!

May we raise children who love the unloved things - the dandelion, the worm, the spiderlings.
Children who sense the rose needs the thorn and run into rainswept days the same way they turn towards the sun...
And when they're grown and someone has to speak for those who have no voice,
may they draw upon that wilder bond, those days of tending tender things and be the one.

Never mind the fact that those very same Leftists just pissed themselves with glee telling everyone how stupid Sarah Palin was for pointing out that Putin was a threat. Never mind that the very same Leftists all squeed about Romney saying that Russia was a geopolitical foe. These sorts of facts that directly contradict this asinine meme don't dissuade the Left from just flat-out fucking making shit up. Again.

But then the Left has never actually been concerned with actual facts anyway, so at least they're consistent when they're always lying.

I doubt Putin told a knock knock joke.

                    Regardless:

                    Sanctions

                    Isolate

Looked into his eyes, and saw his soul. Isn't it romantic?

                      Enjoy.

Precisely. Obama has warned of isolation. He has authorized sanctions, but none have actually been taken:

White House press secretary Jay Carney said specific individuals and entities had not yet been identified, but that the executive order offered the administration the “flexibility” to impose sanctions when warranted.
I'm not saying that Obama is wrong for saying that stuff. I'm just pointing out that the comic inaccurately claims that Obama "is doing" those things. He isn't. He's talking about doing them, but at this point he's not actually doing them.

As seen on FOX News, Rudy's praise for Putin:
                          RUDY GIULIANI'S MANCRUSH ON PUTIN

                          ...
GIULIANI: Putin decides what he wants to do and he does it in half a day, right? He decided he had to go to their parliament. He went to their parliament. He got permission in 15 minutes.

CAVUTO: Well, that was kind of like perfunctory.

GIULIANI: But he makes a decision and he executes it, quickly. Then everybody reacts. That's what you call a leader. President Obama, he's got to think about it. He's got to go over it again. He's got to talk to more people about it.
                          Enjoy.
