  • On this Earth Day, Kid Rock reminds us of the value of punctuation

It's been ten years since that lonely day I left you
In the morning rain, smoking gun in hand
Ten lonely years but how my heart, it still remembers
Pray for me, momma, I'm a gypsy now

Really? We can do that? Is there an 800 number to get the bins or how does that work?

You should probably bundle up your used motherfuckers with biodegradable twine and take them to your local recycling center and deposit them in the right bin. They're usually in between the slot for cardboard and the slot for green glass.

Good to know! I have like five or six I need to get rid of.

May we raise children who love the unloved things - the dandelion, the worm, the spiderlings.
Children who sense the rose needs the thorn and run into rainswept days the same way they turn towards the sun...
And when they're grown and someone has to speak for those who have no voice,
may they draw upon that wilder bond, those days of tending tender things and be the one.

Pretty sure the actual planetary body doesn't give a damn one way or the other. After all, the vast majority of planetary bodies don't support life and are fine with the whole spectacular-demise thing.
