Fmr. President Trump Makes a Campaign Announcement at Mar-a-Lago

Former President Donald Trump announced his run for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination in a speech at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. His remarks came a week after the 2022 midterms, which saw Republicans retake control of the House of Representatives with a slim majority. During his speech, Mr. Trump talked about his campaign platform, with a heavy emphasis on border security and law enforcement, specifically calling for the death penalty to be levied against convicted drug dealers as it is in some Asian nations like Singapore. He was joined at the announcement by his family, some of whom he recognized during the speech. Following his remarks, he greeted many of those in attendance.
May we raise children who love the unloved things - the dandelion, the worm, the spiderlings.
Children who sense the rose needs the thorn and run into rainswept days the same way they turn towards the sun...
And when they're grown and someone has to speak for those who have no voice,
may they draw upon that wilder bond, those days of tending tender things and be the one.

So, two more years of Biden and four more years of another democrat. 😑

We watched it live. Trump v2.0 looked the same as v1.0 but less energy.

Back from being profoundly ignored overseas Joe Biden advises those who are worried about heating their homes this winter to lay out $15,000 for solar panels.

Biden intends to run for President in 2024, which is about a thousand years from now in nursing home years.

Robert Francis O'Rourke, Democrat, White guy, spent ~78 million to defeat, Ted Cruz, Republican immigrant Dark guy …

Yeah, this is the flaw in all this "green" crusading. The answer is not one-size-fits-all. I would love to have solar panels. The tax credit doesn't come close to making them break even for many years, or at least it didn't the last time I checked, and PG&E constantly schemes to prevent them from actually saving the homeowner any money on bills. But the thing is, they would theoretically be a viable option here, and a lot of people do have them. They could work well for people in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and some other locations. They wouldn't do shit for people in the vast areas of the country that don't have reliable daily long periods of sun.

I support the freedom to marry for all. That’s what Loving, and loving, are all about.'." - Mildred Loving (Loving v. Virginia)

The problem is, this admin will not admit that you cannot 100 per cent replace fossil fuels given current technology.

I'm not even convinced we should, if we could. My issue with nuclear power was that we rushed into using it before we figured out how to do it safely and what we were going to safely do with the waste. Same with wind farms; who knew they would harm cattle and wildlife? Probably somebody, but they were shouted down in the rush to replace fossil fuels.

ethanol.....One of the biggest scams to come down the pike..
Back in the late 70;s early 80s there was tons of Fed and State grant money. Ethanol plants were springing up like mushrooms in Iowa , Neb and Northern Mo. A good portion of those plants never produced one gallon of ethanol. I personally repossessed equipment from 3 plants whose owners never paid for the equipment and never completed construction.

It's been ten years since that lonely day I left you
In the morning rain, smoking gun in hand
Ten lonely years but how my heart, it still remembers
Pray for me, momma, I'm a gypsy now
