Largely from the brilliant mind of David.

Note that in all of these cases, "signed up for Obamacare" is defined as people who selected a plan at healthcare.gov. This DOES NOT mean that these people have actually agreed to purchase said plan. These are just the people who got to the final step and then realized that this new plan was four times what they were paying before. The DHS refuses to tell anyone how many people have actually purchased or agreed to purchase Obamacare.

Are Republicans upset that more people aren't getting access to health insurance via the exchanges?

No. Republicans (and a bunch of Democrats, a number growing very quickly), independents, conservatives, and, well, pretty much anyone who is not actually sucked into the Obama cult are upset because tens of millions of people are losing their coverage that they were promised that they would be able to keep, in exchange for dozens and dozens of people being able to buy overpriced insurance through a federal government website that doesn't work and forces everyone to buy coverage that they neither want nor need.

I misunderstood the OP. I thought it was about how many people were signing up on the exchanges.

Considering there was a recent attempt to convince people not to use the exchanges, I figured anything greater than zero would bother Republicans. Now, they are complaining about the low numbers.

Republicans are incoherent on this issue.

There was? I haven't seen that.

I mean, unless you're just talking about the spectacular failure of the website to work.

              You figured wrong.

              No, they're not.

I recognize that you're trying to be intentionally obtuse about this, but you're not going to convince anyone.

For the last three and a half years, we've heard over and over and over and over and over again that there are thirty million people just desperate to get on Obamacare and that everyone would love it. As recently as just a couple of weeks ago, Democrats were trying to use silly-assed hit-counters as some sort of "proof" of how many people were stampeding to go get Obamacare because they are soooooo desperate for it.

When it was pointed out to the Left that, no, there actually aren't anything like 30-50 million people who don't have insurance and can't get it, that the number was much closer to about 7-9 million, the Left went berserk, screeching about how conservatives, Republicans, and other reality-based individuals were all "deniers" and we "didn't know what we were talking about" and we "didn't have a clue how the world actually works."

And now, exactly as was predicted, people are staying away from Obamacare in droves. Lots of people have a passing curiosity, some may even want some insurance, but damn near NOBODY actually wants this bullshit "coverage" that has been foisted upon the American people.

Of course, you already know all of this and are trying to pretend that this isn't reality, but like I said, you're not fooling anyone.

At the expense of their existing plan, yes.

I can't speak for everyone, but I'm not pleased that half a billion dollars was wasted on political cronyism to provide Americans with a website that doesn't work, when it took less time from Pearl Harbor to the defeat of Nazi Germany than they've taken on this POS website.

But hey...Obama, right? It's all good. Automatically.
